one day in October 2022, I decided it would be a great idea to buy a blown up rx-7 FC (ny dream car) and rebuild the engine in my college dorm room. what could go wrong? Well, as it turns out, a lot. Full of electrical issues, mystery mods from the early 90s, and an extensive amount of work that I’d never done on a car before, this thing brought me on one of the most rewarding journeys I’ve ever been through in my life. Bringing an engine from sitting under my bed to running and powering a road car is something I definitely didn’t expect to do in my first year of college, but man, it was all worth it. As of May 2023 she runs and drives, and I couldn’t be happier with what I’ve accomplished and with all the friends and memories I’ve made along the way. This car has a bright future ahead.
