2009 Pontiac G6

The Story

My Grandpa purchased this G6 new, back in 2009. He drove it for a few years, but only when it was a nice day to drop the top. After some medical issues the car ended up sitting in his yard. Fast forward 9 years and it now had been sitting in his yard all that time. Unable to start, I bought it off of him in 2021, while it had 35,000 miles on it. The PCM ended up needing replaced. After that, I did a lot of paint correction and maintenance. It had been sitting for nine years, so it was in rough shape. After driving it stock for a couple of years, I decided I would keep it in memory of my Grandfather, but start to make it my own. This is the first car that I have modified and done all my maintenance on. I've learned so much from this car and it's never left me stranded. I've put 35,000 miles on the car myself now, and even drove it from Michigan to Tennessee to drive it through some mountains. This G6 has been a reliable vehicle that brings back memories of riding in my first convertible with my Grandpa. I purchased a G6 GXP and plan to have the hood, bumpers, side skirts, and mirrors paint matched and switched over to mine.
