The Story

Bought a '99 GSX with plans to drive and one day build. Plans shifted into the build stage faster than expected after the car died and lost the tune it had. Once that phase started and I started digging I found tons of rust, too much to be reasonably fixed. Lucky enough, another '99 GSX roller came up for sale that's virtually rust free (I know, I couldn't believe it either) so I after a little convincing I jumped on it. She currently has more parts off than on but that's soon to change.

Current Setup

  • Performance: MAPerformance Stage 2 short block, WiscoHD pistons, Manley rods, ETS super-short route fmic, Kelford 262 cams & cam gears, King race bearings, Kiggley springs & retainers, 3\" HKS Carbon exhaust, BorgWarner 262 twinscroll turbo, Evo 8 brake booster & master cylinder, ACT clutch and lightweight flywheel, AEM V2 stand-alone ECU
  • Suspension: Feal 441 coilovers, solid front subframe & rear diff bushings, torque solutions rear polly subframe bushings, DC Sports rear strut tower bar, Mach V Motorsports rear sway bar
  • Exterior: Street Faction chassis-mount wing
