The Story

The NA Miata was a dream car of mine that I wanted to get for over 5 years. Was close to buying one before I built my fusion (a mistake since they were so cheap back in 2018), but after 5 years later the fusion got parted out and I drove home a dream car of mine. I quickly got to work with a set of Fortune Auto 500 coilovers, Konig Countergrams, and Continental ECS. This car fought me for many months with sensor and ecu issues but after 6 months the car was dialed in and spent the summer cruising with the top down, hitting back roads, driving autocross events, and going to car shows. I enjoyed the Miata for what it was, however it always just left me wanting more. It was fun, great handling, a vibe with the top down, but it was also slow, uncomfortable, and a bit of a headache to keep running. After a year of ownership, I just never fell in love with the platform and decided to move on.

Hey I'm Matt and I like to build cars, have fun with the homies, and create cool content. I grew up as the standard car guy playing with Hot Wheels and building cars on Need for Speed. Now I get to do that with real cars and make younger me proud. After 5 years of building stance cars: I'm now into building cars for track driving and Drifting.
