Fortune Auto is headquartered in Powhatan, VA where the coilovers are hand assembled. They run their own in-house dyno testing and quality control on every damper before it ships.

The 510 Series adds inverted front struts for reduced unsprung weight. The Dreadnought Pro 2-Way is their serious track option with independent compression and rebound adjustment. This is one of the biggest reasons people buy them. Every Fortune Auto damper is fully rebuildable and revalvable through their US facility. You send the dampers in, tell them what changed (more track use, heavier wheel setup, different spring rate), and they revalve to match. Turnaround is typically a couple weeks. That rebuild path means a set of Fortune Autos can last through multiple cars or multiple build phases instead of getting tossed when your goals change.

The 500 Series on softer damping settings rides better than most coilovers near its price. The monotube design helps with heat dissipation and consistent feel over long drives, and the digressive valving absorbs small bumps without the harsh top-hit you get from cheaper twin-tube setups.

Each application ships with spring rates chosen for that specific chassis. They're not pulling a universal rate and slapping it on everything. A Miata setup ships with different rates than an Evo X because the cars weigh different amounts and have different suspension geometry.
