Continental is the tire we slap onto almost every build at MartiniWorks. The ExtremeContact Sport 02 (ECS02) is the reason why. It runs a 340 treadwear rating, grips hard on track days, and still holds up through those rainy days of daily driving. Continental backs it with a mileage warranty, which you almost never see on a tire with this kind of dry grip.
Continental's lineup goes deeper than one tire. The ExtremeContact DWS06 Plus is one of the better ultra-high-performance all-seasons out there. It handles rain and light snow without turning into a hockey puck when the temperature drops. For dedicated winter setups, the VikingContact 8 punches above its price in snow traction.
We recommend Continental for street builds, daily-driven track cars, and anything where you want one tire that does multiple jobs well. If you're running a dedicated track setup with slicks or 200-treadwear rubber, that's a different conversation. For everything else, Continental is where we start.
