This process ensures that the T6R offers superior strength while reducing the overall weight of the wheel helping with acceleration, braking performance, and steering response.
The Enkei T6R is made in Japan! However, you may be surprised to learn that not all Enkei wheels are made in Japan. There are many wheels in the Enkei lineup that are made in factories outside of Japan. Including China, Thailand, and Taiwan. Many of the popular wheels in the Enkei lineup that feature Enkei’s MAT Technology are made in Japan versus other countries.
The Enkei T6R is offered in limited sizes with 17 and 18 inch diameter options that are meant to fit most modern sports coupes and sedans. With bolt patterns and offsets favoring cars such as the Honda Civic Type R, Subaru WRX, Infiniti Q60, Volkswagen Golf GTI, and Subaru BRZ/Scion FRS.
Enkei typically keeps it pretty mild when it comes to the finishes on their wheels. However that means that you are pretty much guaranteed to find a finish that works well with the color of your car. The Enkei T6R is offered in three beautiful finishes that includes a Matte Bronze, Gloss black, and Gloss Gunmetal.
When it comes to the quality, construction, and benefits you can get with going with a wheel such as the Enkei T6R, you would probably expect this wheel to come in at a higher price. Good news! The Enkei T6R is a very affordable wheel with a set of the 17 inch sizes starting at just over $800 per set.
