The Story
I had a 2013 speed3, and had someone pull out in front of me on a 55mph rd, naturally it totaled. So I took the motor out of that, found a 175k mile speed6 in Kentucky with a blown up motor (i live in central michigan) made the trip, and swapped in the gen 2 MZR23T into it. All of the parts I used for this build aside from suspension and fueling are from around when this car came out (intercooler was discontinued in 2009, intake and wheels are from the original mazdaspeed parts catalog)
Im chasing that 2000s tuner vibe and combining my love also for oem+ Euro saloons
I paint cars for a living so I plan to respray the whole thing soon but for now here it is! Thanks for reading!
It sits on Rays MS-T2 wheels wrapped in some Gmax RS on BC coilovers with megan racing upper control arms.
OG CPe front mount intercooler, Forge BPV, Mazdaspeed intake, Circuitwerks 3" catless turbo back tuned on 93
Interior has a recaro SR5 driver seat, a billetworx shift knob, and I modified the factory radio to allow for Bluetooth audio.
