1983 BMW 528e

The Story

I bought this car in Florida on July 12, 2020. At the time, it was barely running, but god did it look clean with those old school BMW body lines. It was also a manual and my favorite color combo, silver on black interior. So I pulled the trigger and bought it for $4k. Many thousands later, I have redone the fuel system, replaced countless wear items, upgraded the wheels and tires, suspension, and done several autocrosses with the car. Unbeknownst to me, the car actually had some rust holes under the carpet! =( I have the interior stripped at the moment, and plan to weld in fresh sheet metal, and wrap the car a new color.. maybe red?

I remember the moment I fell in love with cars. It was my 4th or 5th birthday, and my abuelita gifted me a Ferrari licensed model of a Dino 246 GT. It had beautiful curved body lines, bright red paint, and best of all... the wheels spun, and you could even open the doors and hood/trunk! As I got older, I played Forza, took a ride in my brother's 2007 STI, and continued down the rabbit hole until this day.
