My grandpa Got it as an action car from Hansen auction group in Neenah Wisconsin with 88,000 miles in 2021. With some work after he got it from the auction the
El Camino was up and running. After that, my grandpa would drive it around when he was using it for small jobs because he rebuilds old miller welders for moving them around and or odd jobs.
So after doing that for a while, He ended up letting me go and I fell in love with it I got to drive it to my senior year of high school prom which was really cool.
Now 2ish years later I have it and have started to mod it being from Appleton Wisconsin I have grown up around a lot of older car enthusiasts with classic cars from the 50’s to the 70’s mostly muscle cars. Because of that and my great uncle drag races at WIR in a red fox body Mustang with a Chevy small block in it. So years later where I am now things just ended up with me ending up with my grandpa getting the car and now me.
So my great uncle has always been a gm fan and has helped me a lot with the car heck has helped me a lot of the parts that I have been using on it. He even helped me buy finding and build the 350 I, this car Means a lot to me and it even brings back really good memories of things from Senior high school pictures, To getting into a paid classic car show for free and many more.
There are things on this car I have done myself and some things other people have done to it, but in the end, I love it and can’t wait to figure out what my next steps of building it are. I don't Have many good pictures yet but this year I'm making it a goal for myself to get better at photography.

Being in Wisconsin, I have grown up around many old muscle cars, and over the last couple of years, I have been around more euro, jdm, and kdm cars. So I ended going with my routes and with the help of my grandpa and great uncle I have gotten to have and work on my 87 el camino. I like a lot of many different cars some of my favorites being Australian Ute's.
