I bought this car with the swap completed, driving and running, thinking it was going to be a small project that just needed some TLC and fine adjustments to be complete. Upon getting it home and doing an oil change I found lots of metallic flakes, as well as a coolant leak. So the engine came out and all maintenance items were replaced and engine gone over. Luckily no huge issues and after fixing some minor issues the engine and trans were back in the car and it slowly came back together. Lots of custom parts and classic homebrew garage ingenuity fixed all the issues. All in all it took me about a year to get everything back together, with help from friends. And recently I was able to get the car aligned and dyno tuned, as it was home tuned and the tune was way off. While the car runs and drives now, I continue to fix some electrical bugs and look to start overhauling the wiring in the near future. Not sure the purpose of this car yet, but it's a great highway cruiser right now. Feel free to follow along on the journey of this car, and my other cars on IG at @miatacontent
