The Story
I bought this truck from my dad as a 16th birthday gift. He owned it for 20 years and I’ve had a lot of childhood memories with this truck. I’ve also learned how to drive a stick in this truck when I was 13 years old. My dad used it as a daily driver/personal work truck and he brought it through hell and back. The paint was all beat up and it still is but I did what I could to make it better than it was. Then I put on some 90s era pinstripes, Magnaflow muffler, Wheels, Tires, but stock Suspension. I have a lot of ideas on what I want to do for it. I’m not sure if I either want to do a supercharge the 3.4 V6 that’s in it, 1uz swap, 1jz swap, do a Baja build, keep it oem+, or as far as the imagination goes. It is a very special truck and I want to build it for me. I just want to learn what route would be the more realistic option so that is why you see this 25 year old 305,000 mile truck on this site. Just so I can learn how to do either one of the things I’ve thought about.
