I bought my 2004 Mazda RX-8 in the Fall of 2020. I bought the car from the original owner with less than 50,000 miles on it and completely bone stock outside of an aftermarket midpipe. Throughout the last three years this car has seen a complete transformation in the form of multiple variations.
The most common question I get asked is "Why an RX-8?" My answer has always been "For the experience." This car was full of firsts for me. It was my first time experiencing a rotary engine platform. It is the first car that I have owned with air suspension, and was my first experience cutting up and installing overfenders. I learned a ton installing the wrap that was on the car for a little over a year and found myself in way over my head when I decided to remove the wrap and paint the body kit by myself.
Even though the car might not be perfect, I can proudly say that I have learned so much not only about car itself, but about everything that it took to get the car to how it currently sits.
