2017 Porsche 718 Cayman

The Story

This is a 2017 Porsche Cayman Base. I first purchased this car in June of 2023 as my 2nd vehicle. The previous owner already had the HRE FF01s, Racing Dynamics Catless downpipe w/ Cargraphic Valved Exhaust, and H&R 3-way adjustable coil overs installed. In the photo above this was 1 day after purchasing the vehicle, and some rock chips and scratches could be seen. But 5 days later I would crash the car when a deer was on the road. I had to have the under-paneling, front bumper, and side skirts repainted or replaced. The car was restored to better condition after repairs and seems to be in a better state visually than before. With this car being a well-optioned base model and having ventilated seats I could not ask for a better vehicle for weekend cruises, trips, or tearing up a sunny track day at Barber Motorsports. I have spiced up the car a little with a tune, and I plan on sitting on these changes for a while until I decide to go full racecar.

Hello, I am a 21-year-old who jumped into the deep end of cars. I was an automotive photographer for 3 years prior to saving up enough money to get my 1st car which was a 2007 Cayman S in midnight blue. And just recently got a newer 2017 718 Cayman Base. My plans for the build is for more track and street use while also giving a nice look for a show or two.
