Bought with the intention to have a street legal dedicated track car. I have a friend who had a 997 GT3 RS who regularly tracked his car at Portland International Raceway. I really like that car, but did not feel that I could afford one. My intention was to build a car that could beat it around that track for a fraction of the price. In my mind that Porsche (at the time, 2018-2020) was worth $200k. I figured I could build something for around $50k... $100k later I did it! I beat his time of 1:25.3 with a 1:23.8, I even got to pass him (point by) in the same session.
