For several years I had tossed the idea around about getting a fun car to setup for long distance cruising, road rallies, vacationing, and other shenanigans. In the summer of 2020, I finally pulled the trigger on this Kona Blue, 10 speed, 5.0 S550 Mustang. It checked most of the boxes I was looking for, but like any car guy, I cant just leave it be. Before the car was even home, I had a JLT intake and Corsa long tube headers ordered for it. I had the car tuned at a local shop. Afterwards I had to address the monster truck fitment and really bleh stock wheels. So I fit a set of 19x11.5 rear and 19x10 front wheels from Flow One Wheels. A set of fully adjustable coilovers from Pedders and some rear end lockouts from BMR followed shortly after. Finally I added some louvers, an APR carbon splitter, and a MMD V-series wing also in carbon to get the look how I want it. Constantly tweaking and adding new things, but the car has been on multiple rallies and nearly half the US states since June of 2020, so id say it's working out so far.
