I bought this car in February of 2022 as a roller And have been trying to get it ready for the 2023 season and have pulled all the short straws. Follow along and see the struggles this build puts me through, the car is on the 3rd engine in less than a year, if you like watching someone rise and fall this is the build series for you!
Current Setup
Performance: Engine: All aluminum 5.3 built by me, tsp stage 4 turbo cam, tsp dual .660 valve springs, btr pushrods, johnson link bar lifters, ls9 head gaskets, xotic head studs, Jp performance timing set, melling 10296 oil pump, 243 heads, ati balancer, ebay fbody turbo manifolds, snake eater 210 injectors, magnafuel 4303, 2 60mm black sheep industries waste gates, 50mm black sheep industries bov, vsracing 85/102 , ebay 4” intercooler, compressed air boost control , e85, holley terminator, built th400 with trans brake and ptc converter.
Wheels: 17x4 jegs spikes in front, 15x10 jegs spikes rear and 15x12 6.5 bogart dual bead lock d10’s.
Exterior: Drag wing and fiberglass hood
Tires: Rear 275/60/15 mt street
Planned Upgrades
Suspension: Mini tub, 8.8 merillat racing axle brackets, control arms and anti roll bar, through floor sub frame connectors, cage
