Are WORK Wheels Good?

Absolutely. WORK Wheels is one of the best manufacturers for aftermarket wheels & rims from Japan. For over 50 years, WORK Wheels has made wheels for the tuner market and in recent years, for the Domestic and VIP market as well.

What’s The Difference between 1 piece, 2 piece, and 3 piece WORK Wheels?

WORK Wheels make a variety of wheel configurations; commonly known as 1P (one piece), 2P (two piece), and 3P (three piece) wheels.

A 1 piece wheel from WORK Wheels is made by WORK’s proprietary technology known as WORK Flowforming Technology (WFT). This gives you a high-pressure cast face with a flow formed barrel to give you a forged like barrel.

WORK Wheels offers a 2 piece design. These designs are commonly used for more unique sizing needs, and to adjust the disc face as needed without hardware.

WORK Wheels also offers 3 piece wheels that use an outer barrel, inner barrel, and disc face. These wheels utilize different materials and construction processes, giving it flexibility in sizing and design elements.

WORK Wheels Key Features

1 Piece Designs feature:
WORK Flowforming Technology – A manufacturing process that gives you a high-strength barrel with a high-pressure cast face; maximizing strength without sacrificing weight savings and design.
Multiple Taper Design – Based on width and diameter, WORK Wheels will come in the most aggressive taper possible (concavity = taper).
Available Color Finishes – Matte Graphite (MGK) / Ice White (ICW) / Glow Silver (GSL) and more are available. WORK Wheel paint finishes are 1 of a kind and truly incredible. You won’t regret it.

Are WORK Wheels JDM?

JDM means “Japanese Domestic Market” and when referring to wheels, people usually wonder if the wheels come from Japan. Simply put, yes. WORK Wheels are JDM wheels in the definition mentioned above. However, WORK Wheels distributes across the globe, so the term “JDM” is not inherently correct as a JDM vehicle would mean any car made only for the Japanese market. WORK Wheels has expanded their wheel offering to fit the growing platforms of Ford Mustang’s, Chevy Camaro’s, and Corvette’s; all vehicles housed in the United States!

How long does it take to make WORK Wheels?

Upon ordering we will confirm inventory and expected delivery. Typical response from Work Wheels is 2-4 days! Should a special order WORK Wheel be ordered, typical wait times can see upwards of 8-12 weeks. Custom built wheels not in the US will range from 3-6 months; and limited edition WORK Wheel orders can take upwards of 9-12 months.

Are WORK Wheels Real or Rep?

WORK Wheels are predominately real wheel designs, with their most popular models being in circulation for over 25 years!

Is WORK A Japanese Wheel Brand?

Yes, founded in 1977 by Takeshi Tanaka, WORK Wheels was founded 4 years after Rays Engineering and 12 years after Weds. WORK Wheels launched with the “WORK Equip” and quickly grew their footprint after massive success in their Japanese Market!

How Shipping Car Parts Works

Shipping times vary depending on item availability. While we work closely with our vendors and manufacturers, inventory accuracy may sometimes cause potential delays. Unless a specific lead time is listed on this product page, expect to receive an email or communication with an ETA within 1-3 business days of placing an order. Many suspension kits ship within 5 business days while some take 7-10 business days (Excluding made to order products like Fortune Auto). Availability on backordered or custom made products will very and we will keep you informed via email with any arrival date changes. You will receive tracking information as soon as it is available so you can easily track all of your aftermarket car parts from us here at MartiniWorks.

Due to the nature of products arriving overseas or around the world, orders with multiple products may arrive to your door at different times. All shipping prices are based on delivery to the lower 48 states unless specified otherwise and do not include any duties or custom fees you may be subject to.

Aftermarket car parts like intakes, lug nuts, bolts, and smaller items will typically be shipped via USPS or Fedex; in a standard size box. Aftermarket wheels will be shipped in their original box with tracking via Fedex/UPS via LTL; and may arrive at different times to your door.

Wheel & tire packages will be shipped to you via freight and will require signature and courier confirmation. Please keep in mind that many wheel & tire packages will be off-loaded to you via lift gate and MartiniWorks is typically not responsible for any additional charges for that service.
