They started in motorcycles back in 1990, and that is still where their racing pedigree runs deepest (MotoGP, World Superbike, you name it). But the automotive side has grown massively. They produce systems for Porsche, BMW M cars, AMG Mercedes, Audi RS models, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and a growing list of performance platforms. They are also an OEM supplier, meaning some cars leave the factory with Akrapovič exhaust as a dealer-installed or factory option. The motorcycle roots are real, but calling them a motorcycle-only brand hasn't been accurate for over a decade.
