G80 BMW M3 Car Parts

The G80 M3 uses the S58 motor and makes 473 hp in base form and 503 hp in Competition trim. Both numbers come from a 3.0L inline-six with two mono-scroll turbos, forged crank, and closed-deck block. Competition models drop the six-speed manual for an eight-speed ZF torque converter auto. xDrive all-wheel-drive showed up for 2022, giving the M3 a launch capability it never had before. The chassis runs a five-link rear and double-joint spring strut front. Stock wheels are 18x9.5 front and 18x10 rear on Competition cars, wrapped in 275/40R18 and 285/40R18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Brakes are 380mm front and 370mm rear with four-piston fixed calipers up front. The carbon-ceramic option bumps the fronts to 400mm. From a modification standpoint, the S58 responds well to a flash tune. Stage 1 tunes target the stock turbo hardware and hold up on pump gas. Downpipes are the first bolt-on that matters for power. Catted options from VRSF or Active Autowerke keep things streetable while opening up the exhaust side for bigger tune targets. Suspension-wise, the G80 sits on adaptive dampers (M Adaptive in Competition, passive in base). Lowering springs from H&R or Eibach drop it 20-25mm without killing the adaptive system. KW V4 coilovers are the go-to for anyone replacing the factory dampers entirely. Wheel fitment runs aggressive for a factory car, but 19x10 and 19x11 square or staggered setups with 5x112 bolt pattern open up the aftermarket options fast.
