1978 Austin Mini 1000

I purchased this Honda-swapped 1978 Austin Mini from Gildred Racing in March 2025. Converted back to original 10" wheel size. Stripped and repainted interior, dynamat and dynapad sound deadening added. Installed all adjustable front suspension components, new cones and dampers, stainless brake lines and four-pot calipers with Mintex pads. Engine is a stock Honda D-16 Z6. Replaced clutch and flywheel. Installed new header and intake from Ulrich Vehicle Designs. Engine mounted on custom chromoly subframe from McGee Custom Minis. Horsepower from factory: 45 hp 998 cc A-series. Current set-up: estimated 115 hp.
