When my now wife and I first got together I had my drift e36 and she had a 2016 WRX. We decided to get matching cars after only being together for a month or so. We landed on e30’s! The dream was to both get one and do a “his and hers” style build. We didn’t want to do the typical blue for the guy and pink for the girl though, and my wife DEFINITELY would not want a pink car. I already have a half pink e36 so it was decided that I would also take the pink e30 and my wife wanted to do an olive green for hers. We became the Cosmo and Wanda E30’s from there on. She got her car in early June of 2023 and I got mine just two weeks later, right before my birthday at the end of June. They both needed a bit of work, hers being pretty much gutted and a little rough around the edges, and also RED🤮. A buddy who I had met from buying an engine for my drift car a few months prior, sold me a black 87 eta coupe for $4500. He had a red interior from another car that we swapped in and I had a pretty complete car! My wife, Morgan painted her car an olive green, I took some time getting the chassis of mine fixed up with new bushings, wheel bearings, fuel lines, and other parts and pieces that were missing or broken. We both bought a full Cliq tuning aero kit for our cars and I began wrapping mine in Tiny Bot Gloss Peach Pink! They are both sitting on Raceland Coilovers and I got some snazzy cheap white wheels with chrome lips on marketplace! (No idea the brand or anything😅) I have since replaced all the suspension bushings and continued to perfect this car little by little. There is still a lot more to go, but I am so happy with the results thus far! Its hard to work on something like this when you have a full blown turbo drift e36 that takes your wallet every chance it gets!
