Been about 4 months since I bought my E46! Regardless of the small, annoying headache it’s given me, im more than happy with the whip so far. Not sure how many others fall into this group, first day I had it I obviously went to YouTube and searched e46 and who pops up?? none other than Alex Martini himself. “So you wanna know how to mod an e46?? EASY BABY” he’s right tho 99% of them are silver. Haven’t gotten to those front/rear bushings yet, sorry 🤷🏻♂️
Other Mods
Performance:
Completely overhauled the ccv system, and currently in the middle of doing the same to the cooling system. All mishimoto cooling parts of course
Performance:
K&N Cold air intake kit, replaced all vacuum lines
Performance:
Swapped out the Dual Vanos assembly for a rebuilt unit from Dr. Vanos. Upgraded seals and bearings. At this time I also did the valve cover gasket, and put in new spark plugs and Dinan Coil packs
Exterior:
Replaced side marker lights with sequential smoked ones, removed and disassembled the headlights, cleaned, sanded, polished and clear coated the lenses. Still look brand new. Also replaced front turn signal lights with clear lense, clear housing ones. Dope.
Exterior:
Replaced all exterior door trim clips, actually cleaned it up a lot. Added a windshield banner as well as some sick stickers obviously.
Exterior:
Can’t forget the M3 look kidney grills. Dope
Exterior:
Wrapped the fog lights in yellow tint
Interior:
Wrapped all interior trim in honeycomb carbon, redid both e brake and shifter boots with black suede. The real stuff too 😎
