When I first got my Focus ST, it was a pretty basic build—wheels, suspension, and exhaust. But I didn’t want it to just look good. I wanted to drive it.
It quickly became an SCCA autocross and track car, and the more I raced it, the more I wanted to improve it. That eventually led to bigger power upgrades, more racing, and a complete evolution of the car.
Over time, the focus shifted from simply modifying an ST to creating something that couldn’t be replicated. The rare custom grille and 1-of-1 front bumper became defining pieces, followed by the RS fenders, carbon fiber styling, custom details, and rally-inspired livery.
What started as a simple Focus ST became a race car, then a power build, and eventually the Stitch it is today—a one-of-one street, show, and track car.
And after everything, I’m still not sure it’s finished.
