2004 Mini Cooper S

I first bought this car for somewhere around $850 when I was 16 years old, at 105k miles. It was old lady owned and in Wisconsin its entire life. (explains the body) the car needed a clutch when I bought it, so me and my friend did it ourselves. Threw an exhaust on it, and overtime got really deep with the mods. I have owned this car for 3 years now. Blown it up three times, until i eventually rebuilt the entire motor myself, with a bunch of added goodies. The car now sits with a lot of money thrown at it, and is sitting at 135k miles. This car is my pride and joy. First car I ever learned how to work on, first motor rebuild, and first conversation piece at many cars and coffees, and car shows in general over the Wisconsin area. The mods list cant even explain all the little detailed things I've done to make this build mine, and overall improve the quality of the car. The mini turns heads (surprisingly) especially with the beautiful supercharger whine.. Although, I have not gotten to autocross the mini yet, that is my plan at some point when I get over the nerves since I've never done anything like that before. Everything that has been done on this car has been done by me, experimenting, learning, and 100% a ton of frustration over the three years of ownership. Like I said early, car was down alot in the early stages. Once I blew the head gasket(mini things, other time the timing jumped(more mini things) and the other time I blew the clutch being a idiot 17 year old. But now, the car runs perfect anywhere I take it. Lastly, I can not express enough how much the car community has done for me, countless conversations, compliments, and talks with some really great people have really drawn me into this type of stuff. I have had some help along the ways building the car, and a lot of good memories so far, with plenty more to come...
