Originally bought this car when I was 19 and got posted to the unit. Those who know, know. It’s gone through a few different reiterations, as this was the first car I’ve actually started to build. Now as it sits, a 1of1 Procharger setup, yes a Procharger, not Jackson Racing, not Vortech. Running on 10psi, it’s still on the original unopened motor (it’s affected by the notorious valve spring recall but Toyota refuses to do it). There’s a few Japan only parts sprinkled throughout. With this being my first build (I’ve owned it for 10 years now) it shaped me into appreciating automotive culture and has given me plenty of learning opportunities. Oh, I also used it to chase down my daily when it got stolen..IS38 swapped A3.. working with the RCMP, we were able to recover the vehicle.
