2008 Volvo C30 T5 R-Design

Wanted one for years after one of my neighbors built a sick one about 10 years ago. Searched for months for the right Candidate to start with. I knew going into it I wanted forged internals so I was ok picking up a car with a blown motor. I found this manual version for $1750 after the a/c belt snapped and took a trip up into the cam gears. After years of building things on a budget, this was my first adult money build after buying a house and now finally having a place to work on a car so I went all in on it. Full engine build, best of the best components from king bearings to arp studs, full custom hybrid turbo build from the premier volvo turbo builder in the U.S.. as for things I wish I knew in advance I'd say how long custom machine work takes, and how long Shipping parts from europe takes. Ive built a ton of easy platforms like civics, accords, s10s etc but i've always personally loved the challenge of building an off beat project that few people mess with.
