The History of USAIR Motorsports Raceway:
Established in 2005, USAIR Motorsports Raceway has a rich and storied history in the world of motorsports. Over the years, it has become a prominent destination for motorsports enthusiasts and has hosted numerous thrilling events and competitions.
The 1.1 mile road course/oval located just outside of Shawano, Wisconsin, was built in 2005, designed by World Karting Association’s Kenny Venberg, on 40 acres of land that had been the site of a 30-year old amusement park. Great lengths were made to create a world class track. Even the asphalt used for the course was specially formulated – called “Rosphalt” – a blend of rubberized asphalt.
Originally designed to be a premier Kart racing track, the road course combines fast sweeping corners, tight hairpins, long straightaways and elevation changes you have to see to believe. It’s called the “Rollercoaster of Love” for a reason!
Since its inception, USAIR has achieved several significant milestones that have contributed to its reputation as a premier motorsports venue.
Notably, USAIR has become widely recognized for its focus on drift competitions. These adrenaline-fueled events have attracted top drift teams from across the United States, showcasing the incredible skill and precision required to master the art of drifting. The track’s challenging layout and exceptional car control required for drifting make it a preferred destination for both experienced drifters and emerging talent in the motorsports world.
MartiniWorks is thrilled to announce its partnership with USAIR Motorsports Raceway, where they will be collaborating to create content around modified vehicles with on-track filming at USAIR . This new partnership underscores MartiniWorks’ commitment to creating authentic content that educates, inspires, and entertains the automotive community.
