An Honest Review | WORK Emotion ZR10 vs Enkei NT03+M

Today we look at two iconic wheels and break down an honest review of which one might actually be better for you side by side. We break down Specs, fitment, how they look on real build, and why you might want one over the other in this wheel comparison.

By alex martinez · Updated September 10, 2026

There's a problem every person deals with when they decide to buy their aftermarket wheels; there's always two choices. On one side, you see a wheel with an iconic name, new design, and genuinely wild combination of color options available. On the other you have a functional masterpiece that gives any car a "see you at the track" look. That, my friends is what you're looking at right now. Two iconic designs from two iconic brands that both have a unique view on function, style, and colors but with opposite price points.

So which one is better? At MartiniWorks, we've tested, ran, installed, and destroyed wheels all in the name of finding which ones truly meet the criteria and which are posers. Today's comparison is built to help you decide which wheel is right for you.

Let's get into it and remember, once you've decided on which wheels are right for you, you can package them with tires right here at MartiniWorks and save up to $300 in mounting, balance, and shipping fees. Want to save more? Check out with Katapult and get up to $70 off right at checkout. It's our way of making the build happen!

The WORK Emotion ZR10 is selfishly one of my favorite wheels ever made. Why? Because when WORK released it in January of 2020, they used design elements from their Super GT race wheel and put it into a street design. Named for Z=Zeal and R=Racing with 10= 10 spoke, the ZR10 became a wheel that immediately pops on any platform its put on. The ZR10 is also heavily supported by WORK's manufacturing processes right now which means availability at worse is 3 months of waiting and at best, in stock at MartiniWo

Pros
  • Cast Face with WFT flow-formed barrel on 17-19"
  • Massive assortment of sizes available
  • 4 standard finishes with up to 11 colorism options
  • Concavity profiles make this wheel look incredible
  • Optional stickers to install on wheels for free (it's rad!)
  • Iconic JDM styling and made in Japan
  • Original Design
  • History built in Super GT racing
Cons
  • Not always in stock with long lead times
  • Heavier than the Enkei NT03+M in most sizes
  • Testing is less rigorous than Enkei's in-house testing

On the other hand, the NT03+M is Enkei's newest flagship wheel that by all definitions is perfect. While the WORK ZR10 aims to be pretty with a bit of functionality, the Enkei NT03+M is a workhorse first and also knows how to dress nice. You get a perimeter brace ring, twin valve technology that is tested against Enkei's own Spec-E and JWL+ which makes it more rigorous than WORK. But what Enkei lacks with the NT03+M is sizing availability, concavity profiles, and finish options. The pro to those limitatio

Pros
  • Always available and in stock
  • More affordable by 40% on average vs. the WORK ZR10
  • Impressive weight savings in 18" (18x9.5 @ 19.4lbs)
  • Tested against "above required" baseline.
  • Cast face, MAT spun barrel - Rotary forged
  • Fantastic looks with functional undertones.
Cons
  • Less finishes and colors available
  • More foundational design elements in spokes and face in comparison to the Work ZR10
  • Less concavity profiles
  • More limited size options (18" diameter only available)

Expert Opinion

We get asked a TON whether it's "worth it to wait" for WORK ZR10's even though we stock them more than any other supplier. It's tough, because waiting does...suck. Outside of that, the WORK ZR10 asks for more from your wallet too, nearly double that of the Enkei NT03+M which means not only do you have to wait, you also have to spend quite a bit AND still wait. Very counterintuitive to what 2026 is shoving down consumers throats.

So my question to you is do YOU want to wait if needed? Do YOU want to have a wheel that arguably does look a bit "flashier" than the NT03+M? Do you have a sizing need that the NT03+M just doesn't cover? If yes to any of those, i'd say it's worth it to snag the WORK ZR10's. They're an incredible looking wheel that does the job in almost every bucket.

But the Enkei NT03+M isn't out of the fight just because we like the ZR10 more. The Enkei NT03+M is the wheel you SHOULD choose if you're in a budget and you also want to get decent tires. To get the most out of the weight savings the NT03+M gives you over the WORK ZR10, you need to pair it up with a proper set of tires and rip around the canyon roads.

I can promise you that what Enkei does that WORK doesn't in this comparison is that the NT03+M gives you a tougher wheel in a finish that'll withstand more in sizes that are meant to be used on cars that are driven to the track, on the track, and then back home from the track.

But if you need more help deciding, just send us a message in the corner of this page and we'd be happy to help you out! - Alex
