The Story

I bought my 2007 Acura TL Type-S as a 0-mile promotion present to myself after making E5 in the Air Force. Having grown up around lowriders, muscle, and JDM culture, I wanted to build a platform that felt both elegant and sporty. Though I chose the automatic for its "future-tech" paddle shifters—a choice I occasionally look back on given the rarity of the manuals—the car has been my sole companion for nearly 20 years. After spending years prioritizing my family as a single parent, the last six years have been a dedicated transformation. I wish I’d known then how much I’d value the manual transmission today, but the journey of evolving this car from a daily driver to a carbon-fiber-detailed show piece has made it a true labor of love.

Original owner of a 2007 Acura TL Type-S, purchased with 0 miles and kept as a "sole owner" labor of love ever since. After years of focusing on family and life’s priorities, the last six years have been dedicated to transforming this TL into the vision I always had for it. Wrapped in Satin Orange with a full body kit, the car now sits on AirTekk struts with 4P management and my dream set of Volk TE37s. Every inch of the interior has been touched, from real carbon fiber accents and hydro-dipped trim to custom seating. This build isn't just about the parts; it’s about the journey of finally bringing a long-term vision to life.
