This is my second Audi S6, same Mythos Black Prestige C7.5 for both models. Audi Owner since 2021, and have been on a journey with the car.
Currently l (August 31, 2026) is one of known Three manual swap C7/7.5 Audi and hopefully more to come. I started like any other Audi Owner. Faux RS style front grill, with painted crash bar, I'm not a heathen. Soon the power adders were in short order. Started pushing the stock turbos and drive line past what was comfortable.
Currently it's considered "Stage 3" but that's such a misused term as it's not a standard metric.
I feel in love with the design by happenstance. I received a promotion at work and was ear hustled by a friend to look at the C8 RS6. Although I was being promoted, that was still well above the belt in price I wanted to get into a spec I would want. So then I started looking at the C7 lineup. The first S6 was also a mythos Black 16 Prestige, but was hit by a drunk driver during a hit and run. Nothing like the gut punch walking out to your car on Monday morning and it's half in the road with the rear 1/4 panel pushed in. So I started over and found the current S6 in Chicago owned and prepared by the previous owner who had some select parts I was already interested it, so at the time it was very turn key. Or so I thought. First thing to go was the fuel pump, or the most jumfabbed in tank unit I've seen to date. Left me stranded in Maryland, but luckily I had zip ties and some basic hand tools with me. Bandaged it together and ordered a OE fuel pump the next day.
Since then we've been up and down and I've made some amazing friends in this journey and been very fortunate to become recognized in the small corner of our community for the car, the knowledge, the pushing boundaries, and occasional trolling.
