The story of this car was ultimately to be swapped into what it is today.
Previously I owned an e92 M3 that was equipped with an ESS Supercharger that had roughly 620 whp. In June of 2025 it was hit in an accident and ultimately totaled. So I had 2 options for the car- keep the supercharger and buy another one, or buy the car back and do it bigger... and I'm sure you've figured out what option I took.
I bought the car back, and then had to look for my donor, which is where I found the car that made this swap possible. Tucked away in Minnesota was somebody who wanted a 1M Clone, but didnt want to spend 1M Clone money. The 135i I found had already had the entire 1M conversion done to the front end, with some fiberglass over fenders rivnutted on to widen the quarters, and I knew it was the perfect car.
After having both cars in my possession, it was time to get to work.
I stripped both cars down to bare shells. Every interior piece, every nut and bolt. Wiring harness and all. As what I was doing was essentially "body swapping" the M3 that I had previously wrecked, so it was imperative that every useable part was saved and organized. Every wire was labeled, and MANY photos were taken to ensure everything was reinstalled correctly.
After 6 months disassembly, reassembly, acquiring parts that were demolished in the accident, the car finally ran and drive under its own power, it was time to have body and exhaust work done.
I went with OE replacement rear widebody quarters for the car. So they were cut, welded, and the entire car was painted the OEM Alpine White color it already was, as well as a full custom titanium exhaust.
After all of this, the build was complete (ish).
