The Story
I came across this Datsun Roadster 1600 on Facebook Marketplace from a old listing. The listing was about 2 years old but I managed to connect with the owner. I ended taking the Datsun home since it was in great condition with only 59k miles on the original motor. The price was also too hard to pass. After owning previous roadsters, this classic gave me the most raw driving experience to date. It is not fast by any means but it is zippy and I can use the full power band consistently. I will eventually give more power but I am currently getting it setup with new wheels and tires first. Then the saftey upgrades and creature comforts. After all is set and done, and when Martiniworks decides to make some suspension for this baby, I will upgrade it as soon as it comes out. Not many roadsters out there anymore, and this is very much the first 311 Datsun Roadster on this website. Cheers to breaking the ground!
