I got my 2017 mustang originally from my mom, it was her first ever car that she’s ever bought for herself. i grew up during highschool riding in this car on weekends i had with her when we lived in texas. i then moved away and a few years later she moved up to wisconsin with me. she needed a winter vehicle and a mustang wasn’t really cutting it so instead of her trading it in i bought it outright and now i have it. at first i didn’t really have plans to mod this car, just babied it, polished it and fixed the things wrong with it until i saw my buddy’s stanced mustang in hawaii atomic5.0
(aka atomic.trd now) and fell in love with the stance look. i did have a ton of help learning how to stance this chassis but i did have to learn a hard lesson with wheels, tires, suspension stiffness and evidently ruined some quarter panels and fenders. this car has been wrecked 4 times in my possession and i’ve come back and rebuilt it each time. during slammedenuff gatlinburg in 2024, a black bear actually hit my car, crushing in my quarter panel and door and basically totaling it. it was like that for quite a few years until one day at the apartment i was staying at, a mobile rv backed into it, pushing in my hood and destroying my bumper. after that i said thats it and i got the damage repaired from an upcoming body guy who was trying to start his business for a really good price and he fixed every blemish on the body.
