The Story
Previously had a '23 Civic EX as a daily, then I got a mailer from my local Honda dealership saying "Your car's projected value is high, we want to buy it from you!" and I said, jokingly at first, "Put me in a Type R and I'm sold!" After a bit more research I realized the Type R was legitimately within reach, looked around to find a dealer with the least egregious markups, ended up with a used model but idc I get to drive a Type R!
Gave it new wheels for meatier winter tires (Enkei TS-5 18x9.5 +45mm, Continental VikingContact 7 245/40R18XL 97T); I've still got the OEM 19in wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires it came with, which I'll likely switch back to come summer. For next mods I want to make it a little louder, since the stock exhaust doesn't really do the turbo K20 proper justice imo.
