When I first got the Si, it was just supposed to be a clean daily, reliable, fun, and simple.
But slowly, it became more than that. A small change here, a new part there, late-night research, second-guessing choices, chasing the right sound, the right feel, the right balance. Not everything went perfectly. There were codes, little problems, parts that needed adjusting, and moments where I wondered if I was making it better or just creating more work for myself.
But that’s part of the build.
Every drive taught me something. Every change made the car feel a little more mine. It wasn’t about building the fastest Si or trying to impress everyone. It was about creating something personal and something I could look back at after parking and feel proud of.
The car is still a work in progress, but so am I. And that’s what makes the journey worth it.
