Hey so I bought my car in 2015 pretty much new from Hyundai dealership. At the time there was no aftermarket for this platform form and at that time these cars was not an every day car you seen modified. Reason why I caught an interest into building something different and unique that you don’t see much of in car event or out driving. I wanted to build a car that is not build often like Honda, Nissan and Toyota. Hyundai brand coming from Korea didn’t have good reputation and I figure it be sick to build a car and show others that this platform has potential if you give it a try. So I did and with that I build my 2014 Genesis coupe 2.0t Rspec. There so much don’t to this car and was all done by me in front of my house, no shops, no driveway. Is still a stock bk2 engine but with a few twist. Is top mounted turbo with a fully custom turbo manifold and a borgwaner s257 turbo,with a T51r mod ported and polished bk1 manifold for better flow, 1000cc injectors by Bosh, 380lph fuel pump, competition clutch kit stage 3 and a snow performance meth kit, full isr single exit exhaust car is running a alpha x full standalone ecu and is street tune at the moment pushing roughly 350whp but has more room for 400 plus. Exterior is where it shine the most with a full remant Widebody kit with custom work meister all polished 3pc wheel spec, airlift 3p suspension, front M an S bumper, vis carbon hood paint matched, rear carbon trunk paired with a 326 power wing, rear carbon diffuser with mk4 Supra canards. Car does have the vertical lambo doors. Full headlight and taillight custom rgb lights, and is running the lowglow underglow. As far as interior I tried to do something different. Carbon armrest, carbon center console NRG tilt steering wheel with momo wheel, starlight headliner and starlight door cards, NRG prisma cherry blossom bucket seats with the pink flake backing, 5 point Racequip hardness with hardness bar, full custom trunk setup with starlight on the floor board with the shooting stars, and I’m sure I am missing a few more things. Car was build for show which has won 6 trophies thus far. It is not perfect by any means and it will be getting more thing installed as time goes by. Thank you for hearing the story of my build.
