The Story
I bought this car about 3 and 1/2 years ago and this is my progress so far. Me and my buddies built this car in less than a month after the rod bearings had failed. About a year and a half after I bought it. Right after we finished the full rebuild of the motor. Literally day after still on base map tune I drove it down to Idaho from Washington State during break in miles so we could get to an event called Mazda Takeover and she made it no problems getting there. Got an oil change while I was down there and no problems getting back home. Probably the sketchiest shit I've ever done. After that she's been running good ever since other than a couple two tree things here and there. Old parts breaking on such a stiff setup on top of daily driving the vehicle considering it is my only vehicle.
