This is my 2004 Mazda RX8 Grand touring first year of the RX8. I have always loved the RX8 but never had the money for it and not the most mechanically incline person then I found this one. Got this car from Facebook Market place in a field in the middle of no where in Indiana. It was cheap paid $1200 bucks but I knew it was going to be an expensive project car did not start as it would not recognize the keys luckily I work next to Mazda so got that fixed and well it ran radiator leaking and throttle issue as it would not accelerate fixed does issues completed a compression test and well it was low but hey it drives. So drove it for a while got this car in July 2023 and coolant seals decided to go in May 2024 right after lowering the car and putting wheels. I knew it was going to happened planned was to rebuild it. But when I opened the engine up needed housing. Planned was to buy a new one from Mazda when I had the money for it but found a parts car for $650 bucks so got that fixed and compression tested the engine and it was in decent compression. Right now finishing up the swap to my car with some goodies the parts car had. The goal for this car is to just sit low and clean someday would love to track it but for now it's just a weekend car.
