I was in high-school when Nissan dropped the Z32 and I instantly fell in love. I used to see this gold one driving around town and that car always made my heart skip a beat !
One night my wife was scrolling Facebook and found this RHD, 2+2 TT 1989 300zx on marketplace and sent me the link. I contacted the OP and was skeptical because he was selling the car for his friend but i took thr chance and made arrangements to drive the 2 hours see it .
The car was pretty much all stock , but was a clean slate. The owner of the car was in the Army and stationed overseas, he bought the car while he was there and imported it to the states.
Unfortunately for him, he was going through a divorce and had to sell the car. I swear there were tears in his eyes when we handed him the cash and he handed it right to his ex wife.
Fast forward about 2 years later, my vision was starting to come together.
The exterior with a Twin Z wide body, hood , wing, hatch visor, front and side lips.
I had big plans for the engine and what performance parts I wanted to add, but that would have to wait.
Everything changed one day when my wife and I went to spectate at a car show, we drove in and they asked if we were participating in the show or just spectating, my wife said showing. Needless to say, after that first trophy, my very competitive wife was hooked and was on a mission to make the Z a show car that was a force to reckon with.
Since then, the car has had up graded turbos, upgraded Nismo big brake kit, many more performance goodies . Custom front and rear seats, Alcantara and dry carbon fiber interior and accents. Interior and exterior RGB flow series lighting. Engine bay has custom colored hardware and dry carbon fiber accents as well.
We chose to build the car clean and classy without being overdone. This is one import that gets respect even from diehard hotrod guys!
