2016 Nissan GT-R Premium

I am a massive Porsche fanboy and my dream car has always been a 911, particularly the GT3 (non-RS); Naturally-aspirated, 9k rpm redline, timeless and subtle looks and etc. But when it was time to finally get a GT3 (I was looking at the 991.1 w/ the updated G6 engine or the 991.2), I was convinced to go for a GTR instead for the time being. I found my GTR in California. It had 19k miles, stock, and had an impressive service history. I wanted a stock car because I didn't want someone else's project car and I wanted to make my own modifications based on my taste. Originally the plan was to keep the car stock performance-wise and do only subtle cosmetic changes, but like everyone else, I kept on getting the itch to do more. So for my build, what inspired me to build what I currently have is my love for the GT3. I didn't want my GTR to be flashy and focus more on performance. I wasn't looking for straight-line performance, but a car that can go around a corner fast and gracefully. I wanted my GTR to mimic the lightweight, naturally-aspirated GT3 as much as my wallet can possibly afford. Long story-short , the closest examples of GTRs that follow the closest to my goals was Mine's from Japan. They operate strictly with a philosophy of "Simple is best." Their builds are simple and understated. Mine's is famous for their build's throttle responses and stock-like appearances. And so started my journey to make a Mine's Tribute build. Basically, copy the Mine's R35 demo car. I bought as many of the Mine's R35 catalogue that I can get my hands on and justify the purchase. Alongside Mine's, I also bought parts from Nismo or parts used by the Nismo team (for example, a PWR radiator that are used by the Nismo GT3). For the time being, I do not plan to build the motor nor transmission (I'm waiting on them to blow up on me), so I looked at other places to help with throttle response particularly unsprung weight. So, the name Betty White was inspired by the name of my daily driver - 2019 Black Nissan Sentra. A friend jokingly called it Black Betty and it stuck. Since my GTR is pearl white, it only made sense to call it Betty White. As of now, I have loads of parts that I haven't installed yet, but the two big ones are the Mine's Carbon Fiber Bonnet Type II (I plan to paint-match this) and the Mine's Carbon Fiber Trunk Type I (keeping the carbon fiber look). So, for the time being, the "current mods" list will only reflect that are currently installed. Unfortunately I do not have current photos because I just don't take many photos of my GTR and I'm just lazy lol.
