The Story
The JDM import dream didn't work out so I went the project car route! Took a flight to another state to look at this car, bought it, and drove it back same day with 16 year old tires in pouring rain and a folder full of receipts I didn't look at. Days later I pulled them out and found out the car was originally built in my home city back in 2003 (HKS headers, upgraded turbo, $100 tune, HKS exhaust, etc). Now that I've owned the car for about a month, it has spent 2 weeks on jack stands as my 'quick refresh' has resulted in me breaking a seat bolt (literally broke the welds in the floor), Airflow Meter, and Airflow Meter Connector! First project car success. Now excuse me while I go and buy center caps for my Advan wheels because I forgot they didn't come with them..
