It has been a while since I updated my build thread, so we're going over a lot of what has happened.

One look of the borescope sealed the fate of the old, tired 1ZZ that came with the car. Beginning a ground up restructuring of the entire build. New suspension arms, bushings, engine mounts, cooling, bracing, transmission rebuild, interior, soft top delete, intake, exhaust. If it could be touched, it has been refreshed or upgraded.

The new low-mileage 1ZZ has been installed. Engine is running. Ready to rock.
February 22, 2025
Dyno day shows the car could do with some ECU tuning.
Since, the car has hit the track, done autoX, done some road trips. It has gone here and there and has been excellent throughout.
Additionally, I've added a couple more cars to my fleet. Namely a Boston Green Z3 2.8L and a Toyota Matrix XRS, which by the day looks like an increasingly attractive drivetrain donor candidate.
