Acquired from a friend after he was ready to move on. Spent 2 years building the car for him to get it road worthy. Never expected to own a jetta of all things this old, however a bond was created and I haven't looked back since. After 4 years of ownership it has completely transformed into a weekend auto x car, daily driver, grocery getter and road trip car. The build idea was to stay period correct and not hack alot of the car up to fit things. Alot of factory mounting points have been utilized to make everything look like it belongs there. Euro cars have been apart of my life for years classics appeal to me more due to simplicity and character, they tell us a story, teach us valuable lessons and show that simple things can be enjoyable.
