The U11 X1 ranges from 2023 - 2025 and is BMW's biggest departure from the original X1 formula. Built on the UKL2 platform shared with the 2 Series Active Tourer, it trades the rear drive roots of the E84 for a transverse engine layout and a front wheel drive based chassis.
Factory wheel options range from 17 inch setups all the way up to 20 inch M Sport wheels. The U11 uses a 5x112 bolt pattern, which is great news if you're shopping aftermarket wheels. The same pattern is shared across a huge portion of the Volkswagen and Audi world, so wheel options are practically endless. Factory offsets typically fall between the high 30s and upper 40s depending on wheel size.
Underneath, the U11 sticks with a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi link rear. BMW offers adaptive dampers on certain trims, but if you're planning on installing coilovers, don't assume F48 parts will fit. The U11 uses different mounting points and hardware, so you'll need suspension designed specifically for the newer chassis.
