Product Description

ACT 3000202 is a Transmission Clutch Friction Plate for the 1990 Mazda Miata. This Performance Street Sprung Disc uses an organic composite friction material and a spring-centered hub for smooth engagement with quicker shift action than a typical OE-style disc.

  • Friction material: Premium organic composite lining with high copper content for heat transfer. It is blended for heat tolerance, faster recovery after overheating, and less wear on the mating surfaces.
  • Sprung hub: Spring-centered damping uses bushings and cone springs similar to factory-style clutch discs. This helps manage drivetrain noise, including OE to mild gear rattle, while adding frictional damping that supports disc life.
  • Shift response: Reduced marcel and steel-backed linings help the disc release and recover more quickly between shifts. No more waiting on a soft, heavily cushioned disc when you're working through the gears.
  • Disc construction: Heat-treated wraparound spring windows support the spring retainers and reduce stress concentrations around the springs, a common failure area on clutch discs.
  • Use: Recommended for street and race use. It is intended for a Miata that still sees normal driving but needs a disc built around stronger materials and quicker shifts.

This is ACT's performance street disc setup for the 1990 Miata. You get organic-material drivability at engagement, along with the reduced-marcel construction and sprung hub damping that make sense when the car gets driven hard as well as driven home.

How Shipping Car Parts Works

Shipping times vary depending on item availability. While we work closely with our vendors and manufacturers, inventory accuracy may sometimes cause potential delays.

Unless a specific lead time is listed on this product page, expect to receive an email or communication with an ETA within 1-3 business days of placing an order. Many suspension kits ship within 5 business days while some take 7-14 business days (Excluding made to order products like Fortune Auto). While we strive to keep these estimates accurate, please note that we cannot guarantee the exact delivery date. These estimates are subject to change due to weather, holidays, etc.

Availability on back-ordered or custom made products will very and we will keep you informed via email with any arrival date changes. You will receive tracking information as soon as it is available so you can easily track all of your aftermarket car parts from us here at MartiniWorks.
Due to the nature of products arriving overseas or around the world, orders with multiple products may arrive to your door at different times. All shipping prices are based on delivery to the lower 48 states unless specified otherwise and do not include any duties or custom fees you may be subject to.
Aftermarket car parts like intakes, lug nuts, bolts, and smaller items will typically be shipped via USPS or Fedex; in a standard size box. Aftermarket wheels will be shipped in their original box with tracking via Fedex/UPS via LTL; and may arrive at different times to your door.
Wheel & tire packages will be shipped to you via freight and will require signature and courier confirmation. Please keep in mind that many wheel & tire packages will be off-loaded to you via lift gate and MartiniWorks is typically not responsible for any additional charges for that service.

Inspection Upon Delivery

Upon receiving your items, please promptly check them and inform us of any issues, damages, or discrepancies. Before beginning any installation or taking your vehicle to a mechanic, ensure that all components and boxes are accounted for and match the packing list or provided instructions. We cannot cover any expenses incurred from installation delays caused by absent components. Should you find any parts missing or damaged due to shipping, contact us without delay for assistance in obtaining a replacement. Please note, we are unable to address claims for missing or damaged parts if reported more than 14 days after delivery.

Order Policies

Cancellation Policy

For any modifications or cancellations to your order, please contact us immediately, and we will assist you in making the necessary adjustments to your shipment. Our system is designed for rapid processing, meaning your order might be further along in preparation than anticipated. Please be aware that cancellations can incur a restocking fee unless the error was on our part.
If your order has not yet shipped, you may cancel it; however, cancellations due to buyer's remorse, change of interest, or similar reasons will incur a 10% refund processing fee. Please note that while we will make every effort to accommodate your request, we cannot guarantee a cancellation or modification once the order has been processed.
If your order has already been processed or shipped, it may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 30% of the product cost, plus shipping fees. These fees are determined at the vendor's discretion and may be changed or altered at any time. This helps cover shipping expenses and labor involved in handling your order.
