Product Description

ACT's T1RR-N02 is a Transmission Clutch Kit for the ACT Twin Disc Sint Iron Race Clutch Kit application. It's a race-only modular twin-disc setup built around sintered iron discs, a rigid heat-treated chromoly hub, and a CNC-machined flywheel. This is for high-horsepower race use, not street driving.

  • Race friction: Two sintered iron race discs provide ACT's highest torque capacity among its race-disc materials, along with high heat capacity for repeated hard use.
  • Rigid hub: The rigid Mono-Drive hub is aimed at quick shifts and quick throttle response. Expect more gear rattle than a sprung-hub clutch, and keep in mind that rigid designs can increase spline wear.
  • Pedal and engagement: Pedal effort is light to moderate, with predictable, quick engagement. Most ACT twin-disc race kits run roughly 10 to 20 percent more pedal load than stock while using substantially higher clamp load.
  • Hardware: The kit uses chromoly steel floaters, a forged aluminum cover with ACT's integrated nine-post design, and diaphragm springs treated through ACT's four-stage heat-treatment process. The diaphragms use hardened posts for durability under severe use.
  • Included parts: Pressure plate, two clutch discs, floater, flywheel, and alignment tool are included. The flywheel is CNC machined and dynamically balanced.
  • Assembly and testing: ACT heat-treats the chromoly hub, clamp-load tests each assembly, and dynamically computer balances the kit for smooth operation at high RPM. It meets SFI Specification 1.2.

For a dedicated race car, this stuff addresses the usual twin-disc priorities: heat capacity, clamp load, and repeatable engagement. It also keeps the installation straightforward as a direct bolt-in kit, with no additional modifications called for. No more trying to make a street-oriented disc live through race-level heat cycles, but the added drivetrain noise and rigid-hub wear tradeoffs are part of the deal.

Shipping & Delivery

How Shipping Car Parts Works

Shipping times vary depending on item availability. While we work closely with our vendors and manufacturers, inventory accuracy may sometimes cause potential delays.

Unless a specific lead time is listed on this product page, expect to receive an email or communication with an ETA within 1-3 business days of placing an order. Many suspension kits ship within 5 business days while some take 7-14 business days (Excluding made to order products like Fortune Auto). While we strive to keep these estimates accurate, please note that we cannot guarantee the exact delivery date. These estimates are subject to change due to weather, holidays, etc.

Availability on back-ordered or custom made products will very and we will keep you informed via email with any arrival date changes. You will receive tracking information as soon as it is available so you can easily track all of your aftermarket car parts from us here at MartiniWorks.
Due to the nature of products arriving overseas or around the world, orders with multiple products may arrive to your door at different times. All shipping prices are based on delivery to the lower 48 states unless specified otherwise and do not include any duties or custom fees you may be subject to.
Aftermarket car parts like intakes, lug nuts, bolts, and smaller items will typically be shipped via USPS or Fedex; in a standard size box. Aftermarket wheels will be shipped in their original box with tracking via Fedex/UPS via LTL; and may arrive at different times to your door.
Wheel & tire packages will be shipped to you via freight and will require signature and courier confirmation. Please keep in mind that many wheel & tire packages will be off-loaded to you via lift gate and MartiniWorks is typically not responsible for any additional charges for that service.
