MartiniWorks Dog Days Giveaway Raises Funds for Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary

October 13, 2026

First-ever MartiniWorks product giveaway, run with Motegi Racing and Falken Tire, turned summer apparel sales into a donation for a Green Bay animal sanctuary

APPLETON, Wis., October 2026. MartiniWorks, the Appleton-based aftermarket wheel, tire and suspension retailer, has donated $542.30 to Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary in Green Bay. The money came from the Dog Days of Summer giveaway, the company's first product giveaway, which ran August 19 through September 19, 2026 with prize partners Motegi Racing and Falken Tire.

Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary is a Green Bay 501(c)(3) that runs a cage-free, no-kill sanctuary and cat cafe. It takes in animals at risk of euthanasia because of special needs: senior cats, FIV-positive cats, and animals that are blind, missing limbs, or recovering from abuse or neglect.

How the giveaway worked

The prize was a set of Motegi Racing wheels on four Falken Azenis RT615K+ tires in 225/40R18 XL 92W. Entries were tied to the Dog Days of Summer apparel drop, a run of tees, hoodies, hats and air fresheners designed in-house by the MartiniWorks team.

  • Every $5 spent on Dog Days apparel earned one entry.
  • A free mail-in entry was open to anyone, no purchase required.
  • Customers who bought a Motegi and Falken wheel and tire package during the giveaway stayed eligible, and a winning package buyer would have their order refunded.

A portion of apparel proceeds went to Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary at the close of the giveaway.

The winner

Chris Walrath of East McKeesport, Pennsylvania, won the Motegi Racing wheel and Falken Azenis RT615K+ tire package. The MartiniWorks team drew the winner after the entry period closed on September 19.

Closer to home: Fox Valley Humane Association

The giveaway ran alongside MartiniWorks' monthly giveback. In August 2026, that giveback sent $243.52 to the Fox Valley Humane Association, and the MartiniWorks team also donated nonperishable supplies to the shelter.

What they said

"Half the people at our meets have a dog riding shotgun or a cat waiting at home, so this one was easy," said Alex Martinez, founder of MartiniWorks. "Safe Haven takes in the animals most shelters can't place. Our first giveaway put a Motegi and Falken setup on one enthusiast's car and a check in Safe Haven's hands. We want every giveaway we run to do both."

"Motegi Racing has always been built around enthusiasts, and for more than two decades we've had a front-row seat to the growth of automotive culture. Through every generation of enthusiasts one thing has remained the same, this community shows up for one another on and off the track. We're happy to support efforts that give back locally and are excited to be part of an initiative that helps animal shelters while bringing car enthusiasts together around something positive," said Daniel Rotstein, Sales Manager at Motegi Racing.

What's next

MartiniWorks will run its second giveback giveaway in Q4 2026. Prize partners, entry details and the beneficiary will be posted on the MartiniWorks community giveback page, which also tracks the company's monthly giveback donations.
