1996 GMC C1500

The story

This my 1996 GMC C1500. I had originally bought this truck in 2022 as my winter/ daily driver. I slowly fell in love with the truck and it's evolved since then. When I bought it was white, headlights were foggy, rust on the fenders, pretty much no interior, but it was lowered on a mix of belltech and DJM suspension. I was looking for an obs because when I was a very little kid my dad had one and it was all lifted and I thought it was so cool. Big lifted trucks aren't my style though so I wanted a 2wd single cab Short box truck and when this one popped up already lowered and stepside I couldn't say no. Over the last 4 years of owner shop it's gone through many changes it's looked different pretty much every year I've owned it. Over last winter I decided I wanted to bag it so with the help of my Dad we got to work and after 3 months it was "done". The truck is on a full ridetech setup with Vera air manual management. I painted the truck with plasti dip the year before in the storage tent in the back yard. The build name for the truck is slow burn because everything takes a lot of time on this truck and the color is called burnt copper. The next things will be getting the interior done and giving it a proper paint job.
