The Story
I had a terrible accident when I was 19. Used to have a 2019 Honda civic si sedan. After my accident, I was back on the market for a new car. Came across this 2022 Honda civic si with 5k miles. An older guy had just bought it 3 months before I contacted him. It still had the original sticker and all the wrapping from when he had bought it. Long story short, the previous owner was battling a terrible illness and sadly he had one of his legs amputated. He couldn’t afford the car anymore, as his medical expenses were piling up. He was also in search of a buyer that would take care of the car and knew how to show appreciation to the car. As we made the deal and signing paper work, he teared up, gave me a hug and asked me to appreciate the car and also ripped that thing as it was made for. Today I have the civic on lowering springs from D2 racing. Avid A20s 18x 9.5 +35 offset. 27won cat back exhaust, Plm upper pipe and a prl catless downpipe. Prl intercooler, prl turbo inlet pipe with prl cobra intake. ktuner is also installed. Exterior it has the Yofer front lip, Yofer side skirts and an eBay rear diffuser and carbon wing and a paint matched aftermarket rear glass wing. After market tail lights and much more. Build is still in the works but driving this civic is a blast. To the previous owner, thank you so much for those words and for the car. May God bless you much more. The main thing I wish I knew about this civic before jumping into it, was the fact, how timeless the design is. It’s has all the modern features with a little taste of the civic’s DNA.
